We've been coming here for years! Always on our way back from Lincoln City where we have a vacation home, heading to Lake Oswego. It's the best pizza ever! The crust is perfection - crispy. We always get the lunch size pizzas and we buy 4 for just the two of us. Leftovers are always yummy! The place hasn't been updated in decades but we don't mind. The pizza is worth it

We picked up pizzas and my favorite is the Grub Steak, which has just about everything on it including mushrooms and tomatoes. I did not bother trying the other pizzas so can't grade them, but they were also gobbled up. It was a call-in order which was ready when we got there to pick it up.

This is the way Padington's Pizza is supposed to taste. The increased quality of the products used to make their pizzas is more than noticeable when compared to the South location. It truly is a shame that the other location was allowed to keep the name because they are no where near the same quality. I always call ahead to order whether I plan to dine in or take-away and rarely do I have to wait more than a few minutes.

Padington's is right out of a chapter from days gone by, with Victorian decor and vintage photo. The restaurant is spacious and set up for groups and a flurry of activity. I can only imagine what it used to be like, but it was pretty quiet during my visit. The self playing piano is still on display but seemed to be out of commission. There is no table service, you order when you walk up to the window and they give you a number. Slide down the bar to order drinks. They've got the basics; soft drinks, beer on tap, bottled flavored Snapple and two liters to go. They have one non-alcoholic beer option, so I requested regular ice tea and was happy to get a half carafe of unsweet to myself. While you're there, you'll need to grab plates, napkins, red pepper flakes, and request parmesan cheese if you'd like it. My friend and I sat across from a big screen mounted over a fireplace and caught the Olympic trials while waiting for our order. Once it arrived, I understood all the fuss! That stringy cheese pulled with each slice we ate. It was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. I can't wait to bring my kids here.
